Terms & Conditions of Sale
Please read our Conditions of Sale carefully. Receipt of your order will indicate that you agree wholly to our Conditions of Sale.

Pricing and Description of Goods

All prices shown on this Web Site are exclusive of VAT. Components Direct reserves the right to change any prices without notice.

While we try and ensure that all prices and descriptions on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or description, or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellation of Orders

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right as a consumer to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund, provided that the goods are complete and re-saleable.

You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days starting on the day after the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost.

Please note that the Distance Selling Regulations do not cover commercial contracts but we may also accept returns from our businesses customers, at our discretion, and subject to a restocking fee.

Returns / Faulty Goods

Where product is received in a broken or defective condition, please contact us by email or by phone. Please note that we will not accept return of any product unless such return has been authorised in advance.

Complaints

If you need to make a complaint about the services or products provided by Components Direct or in the efficiency that your order has been handled, please contact us via email or by phone.

All complaints will be acknowledged within one buisness day and we aim to resolve your complaints as quickly as possible.

Such matters will be treated in the strictest confidence and you will be kept informed of the progress if the complaint is about a third party eg. a delivery company. In the event that goods ordered by you have not been received within 10 working days please contact us via the instructions stated earlier.

Liability

Components Direct tries to ensure that all information on our web site is correct. However, we cannot be responsible for the use of the information given. To the fullest extent permitted at law, neither Components Direct nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this Website.

Legal Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are subject to English law and the parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights as a customer.
